Last year, I went to Australia with my mother for a couple of weeks. In Bristol, the white beach and blue sky came into our view, and both of us had a good time in the Surfer Paradise, a well-known beach for the local surfers. When I learned to how to surf for my first time of my life, a foreign stranger came along and asked me whether we could share a surfing board together. From her appearance, I noticed that she wear a pair of large sunglasses and she was quite pretty for sure. I agreed and questioned whether her large sunglasses would be a troublemaker when we were surfing together. She denied and to my surprise, she said that her sunglasses are prescription sunglasses, which would help her to correct the eyesight. Obviously, she couldn’t see anything clearly when surfing.
During we were sharing the same surfing board; I found that the prescription sunglasses won’t trouble her too much. Instead, they assist her to prevent the excessive sun light on the seashore. After that experience, I was still curious about her sunglasses so I further enquired whether this kind of sunglasses is popular or not since as a Chinese, I find only a small number of people wear such kind of sunglasses. She admitted naturally and asked her friends who were also wearing prescription sunglasses to come across.
When I referred to the price, she smiled. It is just because of they are the cheap sunglasses that you cannot imagine. It only cost her less than 10 Australia dollar, what a bargain!
From this experience, I can see that prescription sunglasses are great eyewears overseas. I hope in the near future, they become a hit in the developing countries.
